here is the tutorial to remove the electrical connections on a sea&sea housing to install a vacuum (leak sentinel)

MDX flash connectors are waterproof, so it is not possible in the state to install a vacuum above since it is necessary that air can be sucked

a fine black oring located inside the flash plug and around the orange connector provides the seal between the flash plug and inside the housing

in theory so simply remove the seal so that air can pass ... but once screwed on, the vacuum presses the orange connector and the air no longer goes... so it is necessary to remove this connector orange...

you must first remove the plate from which the cables to give slack cables and easier access to the snap ring:

it is necessary to remove the circlip which holds the plug in place by means of circlip pliers

then remove the plug from its housing for easy access to pins,
normally there is a circlip that holds the orange connector, but it has already been removed in this photo, simply remove it by pushing with a small screwdriver

at this moment it could in theory remove the little pin (see below for the little pin) and remove the orange connector socket ... except that I did not succeed, the pin is maintained only by the circlip but it does not easily leaves its housing... so I had to unsolder the printed circuit board and the orange connector... for this operation there need a soldering iron (electronic) and a desoldering pump...

normally it is the pin that prevents the orange connector out of the socket:

you can enter the jack in its socket after having greased the blue oring, and replace the circlip ... air can now flow (therefore not at all waterproof):

you can hide the printed circuit board before screwing the plate:
